Dan Nicholas Park is located just south of Salisbury, NC on Bringle Ferry Rd. The park has lots to do, check out their website. Take the loop trail around the lake and find the entrance to the Nature trail with numbered markers to identify trees/shrubs. From the "lucky number" marker in the"graffiti grove" go 26 paces at 60 degrees to where SW and CS once stood. From there 29 paces at 315 degrees. This will lead to Dan's Hikers' hideout. Use a stick please.
